Vicky Cloud

Vicky is the Senior Grant Secretary for the Grosvenor Center for Geographic Education. Vicky is a native Texan from San Antonio and has been married to her husband for 32 years. After living in Dripping Springs for 20 years, they currently reside in Wimberley. She dearly loves her Golden Retriever fur babies, loves to travel, enjoys cooking and eating good food and wine tasting. Her happy place is the beach. She is the proud grandmother of two sweet baby girls. She received her degree from UT in teaching. She taught 5th grade for two years and then spent the next 10 years as a stay at home mom being involved as a room mother, going on various field trips for boy scouts, and helping her son earn his Eagle Scout designation. She has worked for non-profits such as the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and St. Edwards University in the Development Department, and recently at a local bank in Wimberley, as the Executive Assistant to the President. She enjoys working in the Geography department for Dr. Boehm in the Grosvenor Center and looks forward to many years at Texas State University.

Dr. Joann Zadrozny

Joann Zadrozny

Dr. Zadrozny is the Senior Research Associate for the Grosvenor Center for Geographic Education, National Center for Research in Geography Education and Texas Alliance for Geographic Education in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Texas State University. She received her Ph.D. in Geographic Education (2018) and Masters of Applied Geography with a concentration in Geographic Education (2014) from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science - Elementary Education (K-6) and Bachelor of Arts - Geography (2012) from Southern Connecticut State University.

 Her research interests include geography and social studies standards, alignment among national and state geography standards, Powerful Geography, and K-12 educational policy.

Stacie joins the Grosvenor Center as the Manager of the Texas Alliance for Geographic Education. She will be in charge of the day-to-day activities of the Alliance.
