Transportation

Texas State University (San Marcos, TX, USA) is conveniently located between two major airports: Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS; 32 miles) and San Antonio International Airport (SAT; 45 miles). We will provide a shuttle to/from the Austin airport (AUS) at approximately 2-hour intervals Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Please use this Doodle Poll to sign up for a shuttle. If you do not see a convenient time, email Ross Martin and we will try to accommodate.

For those driving and not staying at a hotel, we can provide parking on campus.  On-campus parking for Saturday and Sunday (for the symposium) is located at Pleasant Street Garage. Park on the top level.

Friday night icebreaker will be at AquaBrew, located half a block south of the Historic San Marcos Square at 150 S. LBJ Dr, San Marcos, TX 78666. We will provide a shuttle to/from conference approved hotels.

Saturday’s and Sunday’s symposium sessions will be located in Evans Liberal Arts. We will provide a shuttle to/from conference approved hotels and Evans Liberal Arts starting at 7:30am.

Saturday’s dinner/banquet will be at the REC HALL @ City Park (listed as San Marcos Lions Club on GoogleMaps). We will provide a shuttle to/from conference approved hotels and City Park.
