Overview
Since 2004, PANGEA (formerly GSRS), has been organized annually by a student-led committee to enable Texas State University students, undergraduate and graduate students from across the southwest, and geography educators to meet, interact, and collaborate in a research conference setting.
PANGEA is an opportunity for students to share their research as well as practice and receive feedback on their research presentations (paper and poster). The conference is free and includes snacks, coffee, and a lunch meal.
Please note that it is not a requirement to present a paper or poster at PANGEA, but we ask all attendees to register prior to the Monday, January 25th deadline so that we have an accurate participant count for meals, etc.

Location: Evans Liberal Arts Building
- Use high resolution images of at least 300dpi. Cutting and pasting from the internet is not recommended due to low resolution.
- Maximum poster size is 40H x 64W.
- Have your advisor approve and email crobinson@txstate.edu final approval of the poster.
Poster Design 101 Session
On Thursday, January 21st, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Mr. Robinson will hold a brief, informal “how-to” session on poster design recommendations. Please come with your questions.
